Rathskeller
A man hopping from tavern to tavern, his fists being the only way he knows how to respond to things. Yet is there another way...? Find out as you explore different taverns, try different drinks, and fight new patrons in Rathskeller.
In the making of this group game project, it was split into three roles, with my role being head narrative designer. In a month and a half I created the story from beginning to end, with the different routes and choices. Using a combination of Twine and Inky, the final narrative was created, with my aim being to flesh out the main character no matter the route chosen (Win, Lose, True), and giving a more rewarding end for those who achieved the True ending. Throughout this project I communicated with teammates, and collaborated with them, to ensure all of our visions were carried through together, while keeping balance and player experience in mind. In addition to narrative, I also helped with 3D modeling, UI design, making cutscenes, sound effects, and whatever miscellaneous tasks that needed to be done.

Nix
A short, interactive fiction 1-bit story. The game jam’s theme was “You Start With Everything And End With Nothing.”
Your world, it's crumbling. You must depart, before it's too late. Yet everything comes at a price...
A bitsy game that my teammate and I made in a day for a short, interactive fiction 1-bit story game jam. We bounced narrative ideas off of each other, until we ultimately ended up choosing my idea of going through portals for a price, a price linking to different words that embody a person, and using the definition of the word in the game. In addition to that, we each designed the different “rooms” the player would enter.

The Final Flower
Being a faerie is hard enough, nonetheless when those around you show disdain for you. Yet what if that could change? What if by completing tasks from a high ranking resident you could change everything? You just have to brave the forest to do so…
On this coding project my group and I shared the tasks of narrative design, level design, game design, UI design, and coding. We each created two levels (mine being the third and fourth level), where the intention was to teach game mechanics that would be implemented into the next level in a more advanced application. We did so while trying to ensure the levels progression felt balanced and that player experience would feel more rewarding than like a chore.
